To Qualls, being a "loving witness" means standing up for someone—supporting them as they share a story, recover a memory, or strive for a new way of living.

This painting celebrates the grace found in these human connections. Sometimes we are called to be the witness in another’s life, and other times, a graceful soul takes on that role when we need it most. Loving Witness II is a visual tribute to this reciprocal gift, honoring the strength we find when we know someone is standing by us, ready to see and support our truth.
