Qualls paints not only what she needs to express but also what she senses the world needs to feel—in this case, the vital importance of stillness.
Inspired by a recent trip that reminded her to slow down, this piece serves as a visual invitation for the viewer to pause and reconnect with the present moment. By stepping away from her more high-energy abstractions, Qualls offers a serene space of clarity, sharing a gentle reminder that we all deserve a moment to simply be.
