Arriving to Patricia Qualls Gallery in 2016, Emerson Christie began as a gallery assistant and social media manager. Since starting at the gallery, Emerson has completed his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz. While he is trained in computer science, his true passion lies in art. Starting as a representational artist, Emerson has since grown a fondness for abstract and figurative works, spending much of his free time pursuing his own artwork.
With a unique blend of computer science, marketing, and artistic expertise, Emerson assumes many roles at PAQ Gallery. His responsibilities are dynamic and include digital marketing, content creation, graphic design, web development, art curation, team management, and lugging around Patricia's enormous large-scale paintings. Emerson lives down the road in the beautiful Carmel Valley with his loving wife and dog.
