"Artistic Journey" is a video series dedicated to taking viewers on a journey of Patricia Qualls' paintings.
There is something special about viewing a painting in person; being able to take it in from afar, slowly moving closer to exam the nuances that give the painting its energy and character.
The painting chosen for this edition is Carmel Point - Mystical Series
36" x 60". The light in Carmel has been a subject of painters and photographers throughout its history. Patricia Qualls' minimalist approach of describing a misty morning at Carmel Point is achieved through muted cool colors. The subtle use of color in the moving sky and ocean evoke a sense of silent serenity.
