REMEMBERING
"To Remember is to take a breath and look deeply at what truly matters. It is a conscious decision to stand as a loving witness to the world's pain, to ground ourselves in the healing power of nature and all things good, and to expand the light needed to push back against the darkness."
— Patricia Qualls & Tatiana Cabrera
REMEMBERING explores how two artists navigate a loud, anxious, and volatile world by choosing to focus on what truly matters. Though working from different perspectives, both Patricia Qualls and Tatiana use their art as an active resistance against the darkness.
For Patricia Qualls, this exhibition is an urgent call to step away from daily distractions and address the state of our country. Driven by a deep awareness of her own privilege, Qualls uses her artwork to stand up against social cruelty, channel the strength of her female lineage, and invite in our "better angels." Her bold, energetic work is a conscious effort to expand inner light and push back against the forces that divide us.
For Tatiana, the show is a necessary sanctuary from the weight of global anxieties. Grounding her vision in the lasting safety of her daily life, she deliberately focuses on the enduring goodness found in the everyday—the earth, the evening breeze, wildlife, and shared meals. Her gentle, restorative pieces serve as a reminder that even when the world feels painful to watch, light and beauty still surround us.
Together, their work creates a powerful visual balance. REMEMBERING is an invitation to take a breath, reject the noise, and stand firmly in love, truth, and community.
